Grand Naine banana or G9 banana plant cultivar of Musa acuminata produced through tissue culture techniques. It is one of the most cultivated banana among all the varieties.
Tissue culture techniques offers a method of multiplication of quality, uniform, pest and disease-free production of planting material in large quantity.
Deep rich loamy soil with a PH range 6 -7.5 is most preferred for banana cultivation. Soil should be rich in organic matter.
